Cheyenne McCarter, LICSW (left) is a social worker and sculptor living in Cambridge, MA where she has had a private practice since 1991, and formerly worked with Elder Service Plan of the Cambridge Health Alliance. Her clinical expertise and understanding of the creative process make her uniquely suited to creating safe, trusting environments for the sharing of personal stories. She helps clients engage in activities that are compatible with their comfort level, needs and abilities.
Catherine Tutter (right) has been a practicing artist for more than three decades and examines the construction of memory and the nature of transformation. She learned about shifu, an ancient Japanese fiber art, from artist Meaghan Schwelm in 2009 and uses it to engage individuals and communities in transforming written narratives into woven cloth. Catherine formerly served as Department Coordinator for the David and Roberta Logie Department of Textile and Fashion Arts at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
