2014 Violence Transformed: Cambridge College

Spin a Yarn, Weave a Life presents an interactive station at Cambridge College as part of an annual series of visual and performing arts events celebrating the power of art, artists and art-making to confront, challenge and mediate violence. The yarns created at Violence Transformed 2014 were incorporated into a community weaving project engaging campus veterans and civilians at Bridgewater State University.

Learn how our process enhances the therapeutic effectiveness of healthcare providers working with traumatized individuals, communities and populations.

Images shown here were created by participants of all ages in response to the question, What is Community?  The yarns they spun were later interwoven with those of healthcare trainees as part of a Cambridge Health Alliance conference activity.
