Cambridge Health Alliance Trauma Caregivers

In October we were brought in by the Cambridge Health Alliance Victims of Violence program to design a workshop for caregivers at The Reaches of Trauma: Multidisciplinary Perspectives from the Field, a one-day conference. We presented the group with a “collaborative loom” stretched with paper yarns made by participants at the June 2013 Cambridge River Festival about their experience of community. Recorded reflections by local trauma-informed professional trainees were later interwoven, through a collective process, into these yarns at the conference.
